1. What is included in the cruise package?

Our cabin rate generally includes full-board dining (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), luxury accommodation, sightseeing fees, onboard activities, use of public facilities, Wi-Fi in public areas, and English/Vietnamese-speaking guides.

2. What documents do I need to prepare before boarding?

All guests (including children) are required to provide full passport information prior to departure in compliance with port authority regulations.

Please noted that all passport validity must be at least 6 months from your last day in Vietnam.

3. What is the check-in and check-out time?
  • Check-in time at Grand Pioneers Lounge: 11:30 AM – 11:45 AM
  • Embarkation: 11:45 AM – 12:15 PM
  • Check-out: 09:00 AM – 09:30 AM
  • Disembarkation: 10:30 AM – 10:45 AM
4. Where is the waiting lounge located?

Our Grand Pioneers Lounge is located at Tuan Chau International Marina, Halong Bay, Quang Ninh.

5. What happens if I arrive late?

Guests arriving after the designated check-in window may be subject to additional transfer fees via speedboat or canoe. We recommend punctual arrival to ensure a smooth boarding process.

6. Can I make special dietary requests?

Yes. We are pleased to accommodate dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and food allergies. Kindly inform our reservation team at least 48 hours in advance.

7. What is the child policy?
  • Children 0–4 years old: Free of charge (max. 1 child per cabin)
  • Children 5–11 years old: Special child rate applies
  • Children above 11 years old: Charged as adult rate
  • Extra beds are available upon request with a surcharge
8. What is the cancellation and modification policy?

Cancellation and amendment policies vary depending on the rate plan. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions provided on your booking confirmation or contact our team for further assistance.

9. What happens in case of bad weather?

In the event of adverse weather conditions and sailing restrictions issued by port authorities, Grand Pioneers will inform guests in a timely manner. Refunds or alternative arrangements will be offered depending on the situation and incurred costs.

10. Is travel insurance required?

We strongly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance that covers personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and trip cancellations.

11. Are pets allowed onboard?

No. For safety and hygiene reasons, animals and pets are not permitted onboard.

12. How can I make a booking?

However, due to the rise in online scams and impersonation websites, we strongly recommend booking directly through our official channels to ensure a smooth and secure experience. Your peace of mind is our priority.

13. What is the difference between Grand Pioneers 1 and Grand Pioneers 2?

Both Grand Pioneers 1 and Grand Pioneers 2 offer an exceptional 5-star cruising experience with the same refined service, modern interiors, and sustainable design. However, each ship also features unique highlights that set them apart:

Cabin Configuration

  • Grand Pioneers 1: 55 cabins
    Includes the exclusive Owner’s Suite (350m²) and Oceania Suite (95m²)

  • Grand Pioneers 2: 53 cabins
    Includes the President Suite (109m²), Signature Suite (50m²), Pearl Suite (42m²), and Essence Suite (20m²)

  • Shared Room Types on both ships include: Executive Suite, Veranda Suite, Ocean Balcony Suite (40m²), Ocean Suite Tripple (43m²), Ocean Suite (30m²)
  • All with private balconies or ocean views.

Itinerary Operation

  • The signature Legacy Journey (3 days/ 2 nights) currently operates only on Grand Pioneers 2, with departures every Monday from Tuan Chau International Marina.
